IDS Australasia to bring global UAV expertise to Outback Aerodrone program

·       Want to talk to global industry leaders in drone and technology solutions?

·       What are the benefits of technologies like drones for remote regions?

·       What is IoT and how will this benefit the agriculture sector?

It was great to have Pieter and Coenraad from IDS in the region in June this year (pictured above). During their visit they connected with local landholders to look at how UAVs can help in remote and rural Australia - from herding sheep to tackling wild dogs.

We look forward to welcoming them back to hear more about their work in delivering solutions for agriculture and other sectors, and how these can benefit our region.

IDS is a global company focused on a broad market sector delivering complex solutions to homeland security, defence, mining and now agriculture.
IDS are entering the IoT industry and the first market is its sensors developed for the agriculture industry.
IDS Australasia is based in Brisbane and handles business in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea as well as in Australia.
IDS Australasia supports a full range of products and capabilities, with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) a particular area of expertise. There is great scope for UAVs combined with related systems in the field of smart agriculture. IDS Australasia is developing systems which combine the company’s capabilities to enable effective offerings in this area.
